Do not make the mistake of bringing your child to this office. You might think (as we did) that since the majority of the bad reviews are about the front-desk staff that the providers must be fine. Unfortunately that was not our experience at all. If you must go to this office, avoid Yojana Sunkoj. She is dismissive of your concerns, and in our case did not even look at our child during the visit. I called last year and still haven’t received a call back from that health issue. And now my child needs medical attention for something else and I can’t speak to anyone. The doctor will not call back or answer messages in the patient portal. It’s very disappointing and gives me anxiety.
Monika told us that just because my child turned 18 she was transferring her to an adult gi Dr. Then scheduled testing to be done. Then as soon as she knew an appointment was made we were told that the adult gi Dr would have to do testing delaying my daughter care. My son just spent a HORRIFIC week in the hospital because we’ve been waiting 4 months for his appointment with these “specialists”. Now that we are ONE!! DAY!! away from his appointment (January 15th) they’re going to call and tell us all they have available is zoom, and that they are booked out until April. This is absolutely unacceptable. Don’t accept new patients if you’re unable or UNWILLING to care for them. If your child has been referred here, do yourself a favor and just go ahead and find a new specialist.
They do not try to understand complex cases.
