Used to be a Mexican restaurant.....now they are doing Japanese food but it's the same cooks. Food was solid but the typical clear mushroom soup was chicken broth with a mushroom in it. Close but not quite.
The food is fantastic but the service is mediocre. Staff does not appear very enthusiastic about working here and the atmosphere is neither bad nor good. I suppose on the plus side its a clean location inside. I would go back for the food alone since its tucked away and not crowded. Mixed experience but more on the positive side. Prices are very reasonable and menu is easy to understand.
My wife and I decided to try out some planew and let me tell you. Food is super bland. Nice to look at but doesn't taste good at all. Sushi had a odd after taste. Didn't finish any of our food. I felt bad because they seem to be really trying. Non the less. I don't recommend this place to anyone
