I've been attending Okanagan Symphony concerts since the early 70s and it has been a joy to watch them evolve from a determined little group of almost-amateurs to the talented professional orchestra that we have the privilege of hearing today. What has surprised me most is how accessible and moving the performances are. Whether familiar classics or newer works, each program has been engaging, emotional, and incredibly rewarding. You can feel the pride and passion on stage, and it carries into the ... read more
Amazing side by side concert this past weekend with the OYSO and OSO. Great to see the next generation being mentored by professional musicians.
