Dr Hoonjan is phenomenal
My experience here was.. not amazing. A few of the assistants in this office are very kind and gentle. However, while the Dr is very knowledgeable, his patient interaction skills are absolutely awful, alongside a few of the other assistants. The entire time he and his assistant were in the room supposedly explaining what's going on with my eyes, they spoke as if I was not in the room at all.. I’m grateful for having him as my specialist! We are lucky to have him in Kelowna. Scholar and kind. When in his care, you would think you have his undivided attention and he answers all questions you might have!
Cannot get ahold of them for the life of me. No email address available or website, I’ve called multiple times a day, for four days to try and confirm an appointment (which they have cancelled twice with less than 24 hours notice), and continue to get an automated voice telling me they are unavailable and I cannot leave a message. They also have provided me zero information about the appointment and whether or not I would need to arrange transportation. Pretty unreliable way to run communication with clients.
