The doctors and staff are very professional. I have dry MD which is irreversible but Dr. D monitors it closely. Dr. Hoonjan lazer repaired a torn retina which healed nicely. UPDATE. I recently aquired a partially detached retina. The team fit me in to a crowded schedule. Dr. Hoonjan also fit me in to a crowded schedule and perservered in a non routine surgery to save my eye. I'm grateful to say the least.
Dr. Hoonjan seemed preoccupied with leaving early for the day and his assistant seemed completely uninterested in the patients and was sharp and biting, even saying "that's all I know" and "that's all I can tell you." For someone that repeatedly told us she assisted the doctor for 12 years, and us going into a procedure with lasers in our eyes, "that's all I know" really isn't good enough and is completely unprofessional. I had a very unfortunate experience here. I was asked to come in a month before my appointment with the Opthalmologist to do visual field testing. At this appointment we did visual fields and colour testing. I was told before I go we just needed to test my eye pressure so I was brought into another room. I assumed we would do the eye puff test like at the optometrist but I had never been to the Opthalmologist before. Dr Hoojan just finished laser treatment on some big floaters in my eye that impaired my vision and worked negatively on my phsyce. Koodos to Dr Hoojan, his gentle demeanor and great skills have given me back my vision
