I’ve been seeing Dr. Hoonjan and Kathleen at Okanagan Retina for the past eight years, and they have been amazing every step of the way. They’re professional, patient, and always take the time to explain what’s going on with my eyes. The care they provide has truly made a difference for me. I’m very grateful for everything they’ve done.
The doctors and staff are very professional. I have dry MD which is irreversible but Dr. D monitors it closely. Dr. Hoonjan lazer repaired a torn retina which healed nicely. UPDATE. I recently aquired a partially detached retina. The team fit me in to a crowded schedule. Dr. Hoonjan also fit me in to a crowded schedule and perservered in a non routine surgery to save my eye. I'm grateful to say the least.
Dr. Hoonjan seemed preoccupied with leaving early for the day and his assistant seemed completely uninterested in the patients and was sharp and biting, even saying "that's all I know" and "that's all I can tell you." For someone that repeatedly told us she assisted the doctor for 12 years, and us going into a procedure with lasers in our eyes, "that's all I know" really isn't good enough and is completely unprofessional.
