OAC was extremely accommodating in having our son assessed. Being from out of town, they worked hard to find a time that worked around our schedule. The psychologists and support staff were compassionate and thorough, and communicated clearly with us. I would recommend OAC to anyone looking for an assessment.
Wonderful staff and an overall great experience. They were so good with my son and gave us so many ideas and connections in the community to better support him. I appreciate them very very much.
No communication at all
Applied for the wait-list and received a phone call October 2023 for my child to be assessed. I had requested documents to apply for the variety grant, but never received them. By the time my child's assessment time came the variety grant was no longer accepting applicants. When I explained that we were hoping to access services using the variety grant and could not afford the assessment without funding, and asked if there were other sources for funding, she said no, that she was removing us from the list and hung up without... read more
Dr. Andrea Welder was wonderful for our assessment. She was engaging and approachable for our daughter, and very supportive and knowledgeable for us as parents. We were very happy with the outcome of the assessment.
