Brought my truck in for an alignment after doing a front end rebuild that included replacing the outer tie rod ends. Got a call from the shop a little while later that they needed to replace both the inner and outer tie rod ends due to excessive play. I told them that while I'd believe the inner rods could need replacing, there was no way the outer ends could need replacing as they were no more than 2 days old.
