My daughter is studying in Moncton and had a flat tire, but managed to fill it enough to get to Moncton Canadian Tire. Initially, she was told she needed a new tire, which was ok, so she agreed to have it replaced. Next thing, she was told needed two new tires(as having one new tire added would mess up the transmission and make one tire go faster) ohhh really and her rim was rusty and that needed to be replaced as well. Very good veriety of vehicle accessories
I paid to get a safety done at this OK tire location and they made quite the list of work to get done for the safety. They quoted that it would take between $1,700 to $2,700 worth of work to safety my truck. It didn't feel right and I refused. I took my truck to another auto repair shop that has been around for decades to get a 2nd opinion on the safety. They also had a list of work (not as long) but they ended up doing the job for $512 and stand by their safety that they put on my truck. My recommendation is to be cautious ... read more
