Quick and Friendly I typically like to order a 2 item combo when I go to Ojiya but they have some very authentic Japanese food as well. Their staff is always friendly and you are immediately greeted as you walk in the door. Note that they are closed on Monday and it can get fairly busy on Friday nights and weekends.
Hate this place! Their food is terrible, and the service is even worse. After one particularly bad experience I decided to never go back again. The food is so mediocre that no one in my family minds.
Truly Authentic Japanese food. This is our favorite sushi place in Chino Hills. It is truly authentic, the sushi chefs are from Japan and will take a shot with you if you offer it to them. They serve specialty fish that is "off the menu" like red snapper from Japan. They serve Hama Hama Oysers and a tasty oyster shooter with quail egg. Try a different Japanese restaurant If you are a Japanese restaurant aficionado you will know this place is only mediocre. Prices are acceptable for lunch specials, but food and service are unimpressive.
Clean courteous super fresh fish and produce friendly staff. We have been enjoying this restaurant for 12 years and it is consistently great. If you want really fresh inventive sushi-this is the place.
I think this is the best Japanese restaurant in Chino Hills. They have combination bento at reasonable prices. Their beef teriyaki is really good and tender. Sashimi is fresh. I usually order combinations or Chirashi bowl. Long lines during lunch hours and dinner. Go early to avoid the lines.
