This is a great experience back in time. The cars are very antiquated but mostly restored. The engine is diesel with no smoke. The rails offer a rock and roll motion. The scenery is along the oil creek -creek and passing the Drake Well park. The entire experience was very professional , friendly and hospitable. The entire operation was very well maintained and clean. The train does travel at a relatively slower speed so just sit back , relax and enjoy the forest and creek. A suggestion would be to take your own sandwiches .
Loved it! Scenic ride, worth every penny, and the team was top-notch. Keep in mind the authentic 1930s boxcars don’t have A/C, so choose your time based on the forecast—hot days feel hotter inside.
