I wouldn't wish a trip to the ER on anybody, but if that's on your docket for the day, this place is excellent. I received expert care by some of the kindest, most informative medical professionals I've ever met. This included a battery of tests that resulted in a timely and accurate diagnosis, followed by the next steps for a treatment plan. Wonderful people and great care!
I’ve had great care from the nurses and most of the ER staff at OhioHealth, which makes it all the more disappointing that one experience brought this down to a one-star review. Unfortunately, my interaction with Dr. D. Marcus was incredibly disheartening. He came into the room abruptly and without asking me any real questions or understanding my situation, told me there was nothing he could do—while I was visibly in pain and in tears. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my concern and dissatisfaction with the care I received from Nurse Sarah O. on May 13, 2025, at approximately 8:51 AM. I arrived at the facility highly anxious and concerned that I was experiencing an adverse reaction following an infusion at the VA the previous day, which included pretreatment with steroids and Benadryl. I am disgusted by this ER. My husband sustained a large laceration on his hand late at night, so we drove to this facility to seek care. The indifference with which we were treated was appalling. His hand was actively bleeding through the bandage wrapped around his hand, and a TSA flunky was complaining that he’d left his watch on going through the metal detector.
