The reception is rude as can be for the second time, waited a month for Dr. That takes insurance, after asking if its wheelchair accessible we were told yes, we pull in to the back of the building where theres a ramp, but she doesn't even think that door opens, she says. I knew the second I spoke to her they earned these reviews. We included pix of the building and the step i was supposed to magically be able to get my electric wheelchair over. My first time here was not a good experience but after speaking to the office manager and when I picked up my glasses I felt like they made an effort to satisfy me as a customer/patient. However although I ended up having friendly chit chat with the doctor he came in with a sales pitch out of the gate. As a doctor you need to talk to the patient about eye health first. Dr. Malitz did my LASIK and my mother's cataracts with a special multifocal lens and we both can see 20/20 without glasses! Such a joy to see so clearly...I cannot say enough good about Dr. Malitz and his staff at Ohio Valley Eye !
They have tried to bill me for a surgery that never happened. I was not told of a surgery nor did I have one, yet I received the bill for one. NOT HAPPY!!
