When I ask a question or concern to be sent to the nurse and team I ask for a call back instead of a my chart and they do it anyway. I've complained numerous times and nothing changes. I even complained to patient experience and the guy acted like he didn't care. All he said was well sometimes its more efficient for them to send messages and I told him not for me my questions are too detailed and to just message them back and request a call back. This is the worst GI clinic I have been a patient at. The medical practitioners are very rude and will rush you out the door without addressing any concerns you have about treatment. I believe that medical treatment should be a two-way conversation but it is very one-sided here. Look elsewhere for better care

I had a referral to see one of the IBD doctors back in July. Called to schedule an appointment and they said they couldn't get me on the schedule until October 20th. TWO DAYS before my appointment, they leave me a VM saying my appointment has been canceled. No reason why, and no message on my chart about it. I wasn't given the option to consent to the cancellation, and when I called to ask what happened, they basically said there was a scheduling error and I wouldn't be able to be seen until MAY! OSU is no better than any other providers when it comes to conditions that are treated with drugs. They do not test better, treat better or do anything better than anyone else; they simply throw drugs at symptoms to see what "sticks". I felt like I was being used to study side effects of different drugs instead of actually being treated. OSU is fantastic for surgeries/ procedures, not for disease. I switched to a different provider and improved; plus my insurance billed significantly cheaper.

I was treated like a lab rat regarding medications. They just throw drugs at you, see what "sticks". Very scientific. Instead of being treated for my condition, it was more like I was being used. After two years I've gone elsewhere and received real healthcare that works at half the cost.
