I used to see Dr. Nixon. She was great. Very personable, listened to my concerns. I haven’t seen her in years as I haven’t needed to. I had a new spot show up and wanted to get in quickly so I agreed to see the PA. As much as I appreciate efficiency I do not appreciate being rushed and ignored. I waited for 5ish minutes in the waiting room, normal and great, the intake nurse seemed to be in a rush to get thru my past medical history/meds/allergies. Made my mom wait for an hour in the room while she talked to pharma reps in the other room
Office and support staff are rude
Arrived on time for appointment. Waited 45 minutes for the Doctor, could not wait any longer as I was taking time off work. Ironically, on the door, it states if you are 10 minutes late you will not be seen. But it’s ok for the doctor to make you wait 45 minutes!!?? So disappointed! I have been here before and would have liked to stay but will be looking for another dermatologist.
Dr. Dixon is nice enough, but the office is always incredibly busy and you are treated like a number not a person (The staff is not friendly at all). I also happen to work in healthcare so I understand the billing aspect and after waiting a half hour for my appointment and spending three minutes with the doctor and not having all of my issues addressed, I was over overcharged for my visit.
