Lauren is a phenomenal midwife! My husband and I were first time parents and not too sure of what to expect, but we knew we wanted a home birth and Lauren helped make our experience one that we will never forget! She made me feel safe, comfortable and confident in my ability to have my baby at home with the water birth we wanted to experience. We are so grateful that we found Ohio Hills Midwifery!
I loved the care I received during pregnancy, during the labor/birth process, and the aftercare. Lauren is so knowledgeable and explains things in a way you understand them. She not only draws from her vast experience but is also evidence-based in her practice. I felt very comfortable and confident in my care with her. I ended up transferring to the hospital for pain management (first time mom) and she made the transition so smooth and helped me adjust to this unexpected plan. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Ohio Hills Midwifery! I was blown away by the prenatal care we received, it was so much more comprehensive than previous experiences with an OB. Lauren helped us manage all aspects of the pregnancy, and was quick to respond when we had any questions. The birth experience was, not surprisingly, also very positive. My husband and I felt confident with Lauren and the plans we had in place, and very comfortable in her care the day our baby came. I can’t recommend her enough!
Being new to the Ohio area, we sought a midwife as near to home as possible. We found one connected to the local hospital, NOT Lauren. To say the least, we were terribly disappointed and longed for our California Midwife. That evening, we found Lauren who generously gave us a 20 minute phone conversation.
