Really friendly people, they care about their customers – My engine went out on me shortly after my husband left for training for the military so I was calling around for prices. I found Ohio Engine & Transmission in the yellow pages online and called and when I was telling the manager my problem he asked if my husband was training in another state getting ready for deloyment, and gave me his name. Awesome honest repair shop!!! I am thrilled!! – I called for a quote on my Ford Truck, decided to go with this company. The customer service was honest and up front with me. The engine runs outstanding and quality control was top notch. They have a 5 step quality control process which really pays off!! I needed a couple of extra parts which were quoted and explained to me during the process, which they could not have known about over the phone. criminal mischief/vandalism – This company put in a bad engine, left two crossmember bolts off which caused transmission failure, had to fight through BBB for them to honor the warranty. When I brought the car back they damaged the flywheel and starter and couldn't find what the "noise" was when they were supposed to be replacing the engine. They had two chances to make it right and instead chose to do more damage to cost me so that they could cover engine replacement repairs. I told them I would take them to court, then the... read more
