I wish there would be no start so I would rate this vulture company one star. I had to start my electric service through this company at my new house as it seems like the only available option. Their customer service was more than horrible. For a day I couldn't connect to anyone that could help me. I have had nothing but good luck with this company, When I need to call they are always professional and friendly. Sometimes their Que gets busy, but they call me back when it's my turn. The rates, to me, are good, I'm from Fl, so the difference in rates is much lower than Fl. I am in Pa. now and glad they are my electric company, and their online website (first energy) is very user friendly. Thank you West Penn Power.

Two of your service people, Matt Fontanazza and John Pawlowski, responded to a service call at my house when a fallen tree limb took out my power lines. They were extremely professional and diligent, staying from 11pm to past 2 in the morning to get the job get done. Very, very appreciative of their excellent service and help.

This is the worst electric company ever! Our power went out during a storm and never returned, even when everybody else's had. Turns out they removed our meter without ever notifying us or the apartment complex. My account was closed for no reason. They won't ever answer the phone when you try to talk with them and put you on hold for an indefinite period of time. Horrible service! Do not have get service from these people!

I can't get a bill in the mail. I can't get a hold of a human to answer the phone. I tried to enroll on line bill paying and all Iget is third party asking for credit card information.???

By far the worst electric company probably in the United States full of self-righteous worthless human beings that don't give two s**** about the people that they provide service to. They probably burn orphans for fun on their brakes because they have no heart or soul.

The power regularly goes out in our area. During a recent service call to our home, the technician admitted that Ohio Edison has known for some time now that it needed and still needs to make upgrades to the substation that powers our neighborhood and has yet to make these upgrades. The technician stated that Ohio Edison uses quick patches rather than solving known issues. The result is frequent outages, none lasting as long as the most recent one. Awful, Terrible, Horrendous, just all things bad. If I could leave them 0 stars I would. Don't expect anything good to come from any encounter with JCP&L - just expect disappointment. They charged me 500+ a month for 6+ months and only came to fix the meter after I had to threaten to sue them and never offered or issued any sort of refund - I would have switched if I didn't live in an apartment complex where they were my only choice. Horrible customer service, came and put a new meter in the front of my house destroyed my bushes and shrubbery refused accountability and told me it was my problem. I have never seen a Company so out of touch with their clients. I would recommend a different energy provider.
