This is the worst electric company ever! Our power went out during a storm and never returned, even when everybody else's had. Turns out they removed our meter without ever notifying us or the apartment complex. My account was closed for no reason. They won't ever answer the phone when you try to talk with them and put you on hold for an indefinite period of time. Horrible service! Do not have get service from these people!
The power regularly goes out in our area. During a recent service call to our home, the technician admitted that Ohio Edison has known for some time now that it needed and still needs to make upgrades to the substation that powers our neighborhood and has yet to make these upgrades. The technician stated that Ohio Edison uses quick patches rather than solving known issues. The result is frequent outages, none lasting as long as the most recent one. Worst electric company ever. Power goes out at least every 3 months if not more and most of the time when there is not even a storm!! Totally absurd. This past time power went out at 1 am due to equipment damage they said. At 1 am with perfect weather?? Do better Ohio Edison. Despicable.
They are the slowest place I know!! I've been calling since 11am and no one has still yet to turn my stuff on!! This is bullshit.
