We used to be able to swim in the pools. It was posted "no swimming".Also, at this moment, the water level was low. Another point you might want to consider is checking to see if reservations are required.

Beautiful place where you can see the waterfall meeting the ocean. Worth the drive from Hāna to here!
Great place for taking some pictures. I believe the way down to the pools were blocked off by the park authorities. Also, there are actually 3 pools not 7 (as the name says) and there is nothing sacred about them. We were there for about 15-20 minutes taking in the surf, scenery and pictures.
My best state park in maui! Love the nature and the waterfalls. Pretty sacred place
