If you're flying Virgin, hit up security checkpoint 9. Much shorter lines than American's checkpoint 8.

Walk fast! This is a big airport with very few speed-increasing amenities (trams, moving walkways, etc.)

If you're going into the suburbs, find a fixed rate taxi. Otherwise you might get surprised with an extra fee that's 50% on top of your ~$50 fare, even if it's a legit cab from the taxi line.
