I wanted to love it here, especially because it’s within walking distance to my house. It’s really frustrating because the food is GOOD but the service is unbearable! And we need good food on the west side. Especially good sushi! I’ve been here 5 times since it’s opened at the new location trying to see if their customer service will improve and it hasn’t. Had really high hopes for this place. I ordered ramen with char siu. Wife ordered loco moco. My youngest son ordered a crunch roll and my oldest son ordered “I don’t know what I want to eat”. My wife’s food came first and was ok. Not a huge fan of red chile in the gravy but it was fine. Hamburger was a bit dry. My ramen arrived a couple minutes later. Sat at the bar in the lounge, I do appreciate a 21+ area sometimes. Super friendly staff, great tuna, great spam, wonderful scratch made cocktails.
