(Father’s perspective, emotional, honest, and full of gratitude) Walking into Ohana Center for Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health has been one of the biggest blessings for my daughter and for me as a father. My daughter has shown real improvement she’s talking more, expressing herself better, and slowly opening up in ways that help me understand what she’s going through. As a parent, that means everything. I’m also learning a lot through this process. Ohana has helped me discover new ways to communicate, to stay calm, ... read more

I've been trying to schedule an "initial assessment" for 2 months but was never able to actually talk to a person. I call and talk to the receptionist (initially with hope) and was routed to leave a message at the scheduler's voice mail. I leave a message but nothing happens. I repeat the process during the past 2 months but still no call back. The process of making an appointment is unclear and so far it's not working. If anyone has tips, please leave a comment. I'd appreciate it.

I had to go to the receptionist, who informed someone who promptly switc... read more

My child has been going here for close to two years maybe a little less. The intake took forever and we never meet in the same office. We have had to see 3 different therapists either due to quitting or have not been told why. Currently still waiting for another therapist. With no word or reasoning as to when we can expect a new one. They promised all these groups and other forms of treatment but only to be told we are on a wait list. Jury is still out for me but if you need immediate help, I’d probably look elsewhere.

Great if you want someone to tell you to get your child on medication before even trying anything else… I guess that’s how they pay for that beautiful building.
