Dr. Oh has been great, he has a no nonsense attitude to decreasing risk factors that the patient can modify themselves, this may rub some people the wrong way. Body weight is one of the most influential factors that effect blood pressure, carbohydrates and sugar have some of the largest effects on body weight. Changing lifestyle will change your health, if this is tough to hear then don’t go to the doctor and continue your lifestyle as is.
Didn’t even give me a chance to finish explaining my symptoms before launching into a bananas insulting lecture about my weight and sugar intake (didn’t ask about my diet, just assumed). Also told me going to the gym is a waste of my time. Arrogant and clearly doesn’t care about his patients. Skip this guy and go to someone who actually practices medicine.
I've been a patient of Dr. Oh for over 5 years. He is a fine cardiologist and someone I would recommend.
