I received several EOBs from my insurance over three weeks ago stating that all my claims have finalized, and have called Ogden Clinic several times to verify that they received payment from my insurance and get my due refund from a prepayment I made for surgery. Seriously just called to tell me they would cancel my emergency surgery for something life threatening if I didn’t pay them $1000 up front before my emergency surgery in the morning Like how is that even possible or have any concern for someone’s actual life. This is also out of scope of practice for a billing department to make medical decisions and cancel medical procedures.
***4/6/2026 - Still have not received any response from Ogden Clinic regarding this. They obviously feel that they do their part by just posting a copy and paste response on your review. ***3/1/2026 - Still no response from Ogden Clinic after they asked me to email them, no “We’ve received your email”, “We’re currently looking into it”, no confirmation of receiving the email whatsoever. Billing department is absolutely terrible. Had an accumulated bill, no big deal, got on payment plan with OC. Then OC sent to collections- annoying, but fine. Confirmed with multiple OC billers, including a family member that works there, our bill was at $0, all sent to collections. Paid off the Bonneville bill after a few months. Was then sent another bill from Ogden Clinic (less than $200; mind you we were confirmed NO BALANCE at OC) for something my husband had been seen for well over a YEAR AGO.
