I took my wedding dress on a Thursday to be taken in the sides, I explained I was going to travel for my wedding so the seamstress told me that it was going to be ready on Wednesday (7 days after) since my flight was the following morning. To my surprise on Wednesday she hadn't done anything to my dress. Even the guy that gave it back said that the good news was that he found it among other clothes but the bad news was that it was not even touched.
