Beware that Offspring Hawthorn reception staff don't reliably process the Medicare refund after payment and you might be out of pocket hundreds of dollars. In 2025, l have now had my second experience of the Medicare refund not being processed at the time of paying the approx $450 fee. Last time l followed up with an email with no response. Appalling experience with this clinic. Having been rescheduled three times and twice bumped last minute. Go elsewhere if needing a specialist.
The receptionists here are efficient and knowledgeable. I called last week as I was struggling to find information on psychologist assessments and I have been looking around and no one seems to be able to give me a straight answer (very frustrating). The person on the phone was very helpful and took the time to explain everything regarding assessments, medication and cost which is still quite expensive but at least I was told why and the time it takes. Agree with the other comments about the receptionists at the Hawthorn location - extremely unfriendly and just not helpful at all- would not go here purely based off that. Disgraceful
Receptionist from Brighton ---Rachel is very rude, don't behave at a minimum respect level. Administration should take some caring about her very bad behaviour.
