This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with what I can only describe as one of the worst specialist services in Melbourne. I will NEVER return. I scheduled a paediatric appointment and was repeatedly contacted by staff to reschedule, seemingly to accommodate the doctor’s busy schedule. I understood the need for flexibility, so I agreed. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I booked an appointment and left work early to attend. No one informed me there would be a delay, and worst of all, they didn’t even call me for the consultation. This shows a complete lack of respect for patients’ time. When families organise work and school schedules to attend appointments, the least that is expected is clear communication. Very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this clinic.
Poor service , Doctor are super late to appointments or don’t come at all . When they are coming the appointments last 5 min and they charge $500 .This practice is only interested by profit and will not care about the health of your child . The reception is rude and stuff up appointments as well . I would not recommend .
Went there today to get a special travel vaccine for my 6 month old. The reception staff were friendly and the doctor I saw was also very good and knowledgeable. However the facilities there are very poor. Only one toilet with a very old looking baby changing mat (with black stains). It did not look very clean. They can easily buy a fresh new mat from kmart for less than $20. For a center that is specialising on childrens health, im sure they have alot of babies and children coming in daily. Dr Maurizio was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took time to make sure we understood everything. Our boy was 18 months old and it can be very confronting as a parent to have them in a vulnerable position. Dr Maurizio was fantastic at explaining at he was about to do and why. Additionally, he was conservative and recommended against surgery when it is obviously in his financial interests to go ahead with a surgery. Testament to his professionalism and expertise.
