This place is insanely good. Brisket, pulled pork, and turkey were all phenomenal. We will back.
Ordered half pound of brisket, half of it was fatty, which I don’t like and can’t eat, they didn’t ask if I wanted lean or marbled. Also got the Mac and cheese and baked beans; I liked the Mac and cheese, the baked beans have peppers and onions and possibly some type of meat, reminded me of some I’ve had before; they were decent. Brisket lacked real seasoning but what I ate was was tender. They should probably ask customer preference on meat choice and trim brisket better as well. Overall it was decent. Hands-down, this is the best barbecue in Baton Rouge. The spices and seasoning are excellent. The quantity for the price is excellent. I always get takeout once again excellent.
Oh my goodness they are on to something at this place my goodness. So my friend and I ordered food to go and it took me some time to make it home to eat, but I didn't reheat my food so with the heat outside it was still a decent temperature. So I'll start with the greens. They were seasoned to absolute perfection and you could taste that smokey flavor in them as well. But when I say they were tender!!!!
