Not fun I do not enjoy shopping at Office Max. The store is huge and finding someone to help is next to impossible! I only go in on occasion because my company has a discount program. I would rather go to one of the other large chains!
Recommendedprofessional and prompt service
First I was very happy because their assistant manager was able to do as their signs ALL OVER THE STORE SAID "we match competitors prices" on the school supplies I was purchasing. However when I got to check out the girl copped an attitude and the manager REFUSED to match them! Saying they were "special prices". Excuse me? We told him the asst. was the one who picked out the items to price match, even the like named items and he pulled the trump card "I'm HIS boss and I say no!" Fine! I would think as a customer service based industry the employees would do their best to not be rude and tick off the customers... Guess I was horribly wrong in thinking this!... The female at the counter made a very loud snyde remark toward me when I commented we would have to find a office depot because they (office max) did not offer the same service that we are used to at office depot. The fact is that if I had the thought of coming back to office max for anything else that thought is gone now because of the rude customer... read more
