Was done bad by them. Treated poorly. No customer deserves to be treated that way. Gave me the run around. Laptop wouldn't work after a month. Disorganized and they weren't sure how to do anything technical.
Staff, including Store Manager don't appreciate the loyalty of someone coming in once a month and more for their business needs. They don't appreciate that I have bought every office supply from them, and generally don't ask too much from them. I have 2 business accounts with them. I am also well-connected locally, and will let everyone know of my experience with them. Store Manager didn't even ask for my name and number to follow-up with me regarding my issues.
Some customer service associates are not friendly at all. Go staples instead.
Poor customer service! They let me in 8 minutes before closing time ( 9pm) and salesperson came ( I was in printer aisle), asked me if I have a particular item to buy because, they are actually closed already! I found one but saw another one & he wouldn’t know if they have in stock. Then he asked me if I pay in cash or card because people ( co-workers)are asking. Worst customer service...all salespeople were unhelpful and rude when asking for assistance.. Asked at print area if i could use color copier and cashier replied yes if you know how to use it...asked employee help on wireless keyboard.. Employee replied .. Is there none on shelf...cashier was rude when ringing up my purchase. Everyone in store seemed in an rude mood..will take future business to staples. Management needs to remind all employees customers service is better with a smile..
Walked in before noon on a Sunday needing to make copies. Walked to the self serve copier. Waited the 5 minutes while it booted up. Then discovered that the machine was out of paper. I answered the lady behind the printing counter's question with "The machine seems to be out of paper". I was told that "the gal that does that is on lunch for about 30 minutes" See, the expected reply from a retailer would be something along the lines of "we'll get that taken care of"... Apparently Office Depot doesn't need my business.
