Ate at the new Independence, Missouri location earlier this week. Food was not that great. The meatloaf had a lot of spices on it that was over the top, and the cinnamon roll french toast was horrible! Also witnessed a Manager talking to employees (who were busting their butts) like trash! She told them that they would work them from sun up to sun down and wouldn't leave until she told them they could even if that meant them staying until close after coming in at 7am. When to the black bear diner in rocklin ca, for dinner with my husband and 89 yr old mother inlaw. Was almost done with my food moved my vegetables around and found a cockroach. Told the server she went to the manager he took it back . The server was going to comp my food ,,as it was I got sick , my husband asked the server if the manager was going to come talk to us it took him 15 min to come talk to us.
