Wife of patient My husband went to Dr. Beckerdite four weeks ago with shortness of breath and a cough. Chest x-rays and pulmonary function test were clear, so he was told to "exercise more", even though he already exercises 40 minutes a day on a stationary bike or treadmill. It turns out, after taking him to the ER this weekend when he collapsed, that he has massive blood clots in all of the lobes in both of his lungs. Guess I should consider a change I have been going to a doctor here since their previous office. Writing this review has made me realize I should probably change doctors. I love her personality and bedside manner...but every time I go I get the impression that she doesn't know what diagnosis to make and always thinks my symptoms are odd or inconsistent. She recently referred me to a podiatrist (he was terrible) then to an orthopedic surgeon (he was even worse). Not sure where else to go but I think its time to change.
Diagnosis Always the Same! It is very hard to find a good physician. I went to Ofallon Family Medicine and saw one of the physicians there. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. My only concern was that my husband and I both saw the same doctor and we had entirely different symptoms, but both received the same diagnosis. Our symptoms continued for many months and forced us to go somewhere else. Beware!
my whole family goes here After going through a couple of doctors a year, searching for the right office, I finally found this one. The doctors have the best bedside manner and I found them to be the most up-to-date on treatments. They have a good bedside mannor and speak easily to both adults and children. Kids enjoy their kidding around and it makes the visit less stressfull for them. I highly recommend them, especially if you have kids.
