I ordered the “Get Shorty Rib”. My dish was almost soupy and soggy. The beef was flavourless and cold. For $25 I definitely expected more. I am also not impressed the peppermint tea I ordered was half a mug for $4.50. Service was fine but nothing special. The french toast tasted pretty good, so that was the only thing that kept the review at 2 stars and not 1.
The quality of the food is so fresh, amazing and delicious. We've gone to 2 locations after we found out this gem has locations all across Canada! And we will continue to return to each one whenever we can. The OEB was on 5th Avenue in Calgary. Our servers were friendly and welcoming. The food is always spot on! We will continue to recommend this place to everyone we know who's traveling through.
We got the breakfast sammi and the chicken poutine. The sandwich was very tasty however I strongly recommend against the waffle fries, they where completely lacking in flavor (some seasoning would have been nice). The poutine is not poutine as I am familiar, inn fact it is a benidict dish. So in review of a benidict and not a poutine, it was very good.
