They cut an entire lot in half to dedicate half of it to 2hr parking for a completely different establishment which is a ridiculously small time allowance for most students. What’s worse is they didn’t even decrease the price of the parking permit that includes that lot. Criminal. Like can’t even utilize most parking lots at this point cause it’s either packed or has a time limit. So disgusted at how ODU operates their parking services.
Unempathetic, most money hungry people I have ever encountered. They only care about running up a check on college students. You have to pay an almost $200 semesterly pass to park on campus and still get thrown ridiculous fees/tickets if you park in a wrong location for even 5 minutes (such as to get food or move back into your residence hall after break). Absolutely ridiculous. DONT waste your time trying to appeal a citation. They do not care at all.
I pay to live here and to go to school. I am a transfer student and have never experienced transportation services this egregious ever! Completely unacceptable and unethical. I was also charged higher amounts for shared parking which is listed as $40 on the university website. This school scams the students!!! As soon as my contract is up i’m out of here.
