Dr. Ode is a great doctor and very smart! He listened to me and he helped me to understand my health conditions. I am so thankful. I tell everyone I know that needs a doctors to go see him.
He does not listen well to patient complaints and patient restrictions. I wouldn't say he's condescending, but is definitely narrow minded in his approach and not thorough in the slightest. This is not all on him though, it is the office culture at large. His front office staff is actually the worst part of the experience. Very apathetic people and very much not proactive in preventing disease spread throughout their facility. No timely follow up whatsoever. A perfect snapshot of healthcare in Georgia.
I absolutely love Dr. Odi. He is always very attentive to any concerns I might have as a 70-year-old woman. Never tries to rush through a visit. Always shows kindness and empathy in a world so lacking of such. I have been his patient since 2008, and it was one of the most fortunate events in my life to have found him.
I've been seeing Dr. Odemuyiwa for a few years now...great doctor...really care about his patients...the staff are great too...
Unfortunately, when I mentioned opiate addiction when younger, he acted as if every word out of my mouth was a lie. Came in with long list of hypothyroidism symptoms, 4 blood tests later (each of which showed large difference) he says I'm good, nothing to worry about. Next I complain of severe idiopathic edema & ascites. His reply... I'm overweight, exercise & drink water. Now with new Dr., now on thyroid meds & having surgery to fix multiple abdominal hernias. He caught none of this!
I have been a patient of Dr Odes for nearly 15 years. He has a great bedside manor and genuinely cares for his patients. He is very thorough and really listens to you. Even though I live farther away from his office now I will continue to go to his office because he truly cares about my well being not just the money. I have referred 4 different people to him that all feel the same way and have been long time patients of his so I definitely recommend him for anyone.
