We were hesitant because of a couple bad reviews the boys had but they came highly recommended from a friend that also used them. Sami was very friendly and professional, the boys were all courteous and on time. Cleaning could have been better but we expected that from a home addition. They came in 20% cheaper than the big companies which made us nervous but we were very happy with the results we got.
We entered into an agreement with Sami Tokan, Octagon Construction Services(OCS) to build and install new custom kitchen cabinets. We then wrote a deposit cheque to OCS, it was accepted by Mr. Tokan as a deposit for building the cabinets. Six (6) months later we had a horrible nightmare on our hands and therefore had no choice but to terminate our agreement with Mr. Tokan and then hired new contractors to do the job. We hired Sami- OCS to do our basement Reno. Agreed on a price signed contract and first day - called to say his men were tired and could they start following day. The whole project estimated to take 4-6 weeks. They then came to work and Sami did 1-2 hours and would leave. We also found out that his employees were people he found on kijiji and he didn't have a team as he kept saying. I've been chasing Sami for 3 months now to get my kitchen done and the rooms painted. My calls go unanswered, I get text messages saying he'll follow up and I see nothing. My kitchen has been sitting there with no cabinet doors and drawers. My kids room was suppose to be painted and its not finished properly.
