Our first time staying on Ocracoke and we experienced a very scary night with my 3 year old gasping and struggling to breathe through out the night. I called Ocracoke Health center as soon as they opened and we were able to be seen right away. Angela the nurse practitioner was amazing and so sweet. Very grateful there was medical care available on the island.
Vacationing with our four year old who developed a barking cough and was able to get in quickly and effortlessly and the staff was extremely friendly, amazing with children, and knowledgeable. So glad they were able to taken care of him same day and back to the fun week ahead. Thanks Ocracoke Health Center!!

Dr Sexton, Lucy & the others who assisted my husband during a medical situation on the island were wonderful. Very professional, patient, friendly & very accommodating to his emergency. We have been coming for over 30 years & it was the first time we had to use their clinic & they were awesome. Thank you.
