NO STARS!!! I went to OCOA on Saturday to get my hair done, and when I say I do not recommend this salon, I truly mean that. They do not specialize in natural hair. I was told that my hair was “very dry,” and the entire experience made me feel uncomfortable. I specifically asked for a leave-out and was told that she could do it. I was never told beforehand that my hair would be glued in instead of sewn in. Very disappointed with my experience. The sign said blowouts were $20 and up, so I asked the price before she started. I was told $25, but once my hair was finished, I was charged $70 with no explanation beforehand. I’ve been getting Dominican blowouts my entire life, and my hair is extremely short—it doesn’t even touch my shoulders—so I was shocked by the price change. Hair definitely fell out after. My ends are dryer than ever. I came in my hair was almost in the middle of my back. I chopped it to the bottom of my neck. Unfortunately screws a really nice woman just the products are cheap.
