I went to OCLI for cataract surgeries with Dr. Whittpenn, 5 years ago. Superb skills and exceptional care, I being a Type 1 diabetic since 1962. His thoroughness and care will be definitely so appreciated till so many years to come. Unfortunately dr. Whittpenn retired. Glad he did,he well deserves it but I was and am...HE..took care of me. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I’ve been seen by two of their physicians both of whom were extremely dismissive. I was there to address some issues I had been having. I only found out the reason for my symptoms during a second visit for the same problem. This diagnosis was never discussed with me - I happened to view it on the computer when my chart was open. The Dr abruptly ended the visit without allowing me any opportunity to ask questions. Find someone else - this place is a factory!
If I could give 0 stars I would. That doctor adam chubak is so incompetent and dismissive. Telling my mother theres nothing wrong with her eye and that he has no idea why tears full up her pillow or why the eyelid droops down. Oh he was quick to try and send her for plastic surgery though smh and to top it off he laughs and says he doesnt know why her eye hurts. This doctor must of went to a community collage
Had cataract surgery by Dr Singleton about 3 years ago have had eye pain since have to take 2 different drops four times a day now and everytime I need a prescription refilled it takes 3 or 4 times of calling and dealing with incompetent staff at Patchogue office and the most recent comment was there's only so much we can do wouldn't recommend anyone to Patchogue office for anything
