With the exception of one appointment last year, wait times were 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours after the given time, often with one person or nobody ahead of me. In addition, I was given an appointment 2 months away when the doctor ordered blood tests. No where else have I experienced this level of neglect. The worst!
I received very poor care in the ER for chest pain. They didn't inform me of the results of tests done nor seem concerned. I was discharged with chest pain and verbally told "Keep doing what you're doing." It's appalling. Thankfully, I finally was able to be seen by a real doctor....not at Ochsner. I recommend you go somewhere else for a heart attack/condition or chest pain.
