This is probably the worst medical experience I've ever had. Bad enough that I've never written a review, but here one is. I saw Dr. Shah in September for a LASIK consultation. When I spoke with Dr. Shah, he said it's $75 for the consultation. Ok. I paid $75 for the consultation, which lasted about five minutes. The LASIK procedure itself was on the expensive side but Dr. Shah explained he'd earned a post-doc or what-have-you that somehow improved his ability as it pertains to LASIK. Ok. Reasonable. Overall I had a great experience working with Dr. Shah. I have been a patient within the Ochsner network for many years and have received great care. Their electronic records make it very easy for other Ochsner physicians to review my medical history at any hour of the day so that I do not have to repeat my medical history when I meet a new doctor.
