She is hands down the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had. She takes her time and is genuinely concerned. I will miss her, she is retiring from her practice.
I highly recommend that you do NOT go to this doctor. She has no idea what she is doing. I was on meds for 9 years and when I got pregnant she took me off cold turkey instead of weaning me off. My gyno couldn't believe it. She has no idea how to talk to patients. She just sits there and stares with a blank face. You might as well talk to a wall for a Psychiatrist- you will probably get better results. She is not smart at all. Please do not waste your time.
Sloppy administration
I absolutely do not recommend this doctor. I went to 2 visits with her, the first intake appointment she did not look up from her computer one time except to say goodbye. She asked what medications i have tried and what i was previously diagnosed with. Then gave me a medication that I had tried previous with no help saying that i was taking it at the wrong time of day. The second visit was an emergency visit that i called for and her response to me being suicidal was to "get over it"
Do not under any circumstances go to this doctor. She is not helpful in the slightest. All she does is sit in front of her computer and prescribe medication that may or may not help you. You will never receive a diagnosis, nor a person you can open up to. Her vague attempts at reassuring you that everything will be fine are mediocre at best and do nothing to calm your situation. In the end, the only thing she is professional at is destroying the remainder of your courage to seek help.
