Not sure what the staff and doctors or going threw personally but, they seem very un happy and did not want to help, it’s not all staff but the late night nurse with blonde hair was very irritated and the dr. With the blonde hair , Was quick and suggested something I could do at home even though I was gone be chargers a thousand dollar bill, I went in at 1:30am I in up leaving at 4:00am and 4mins was waiting on dis charge papers, my god if you don’t like being in the medical field don’t do it.
Broke pelvic in two places falling. ER gave me a prescription and told me to go to an orthopedic doctor the next day.
Went for cellulitis in my leg, refused to prescribe me antibiotics after checking for blood clots. Sat there for 2.5 hours just waiting to be even discharged. I could tell that some of the nurses were judging me. I wish I would have read the other reviews before I came here. Believe them. I was horrified at the way this place is run and the attitudes of half of the people there. You could tell they did not want to be there and do not care about you.
Went there for a head injury, sat in waiting room for hours before brought back. After I saw the doctor for the 2 minute interaction he was there for. He ran his fingers across the top of my head that was busted open and said I needed a cat scan which I refused and decided to leave. Then got hit with a $800 medical bill. Apparently it cost $250 a minute to walk in the door here and the only medical advice you’re offered is a test which was estimated at $4000
This is about ER. Horrible ER in Starkville. We had to spend at-least 4 hours to get in. My daughter had 101 fever but still they didn’t care. I really can’t understand this place. They don’t care about patients. Really sorry about patients.
