I really wanted to enjoy this experience. It's right up my wife's and my alley. We love playing in the dirt, and we love finding cool rocks. Unfortunately, the way this business operates created an extremely unenjoyable experience. The staff explained the rules to everyone there, that you are supposed to all take pails up to a central pile of "paydirt," fill your pail, and return to your station to process it and look for gems.
