I ordered a high grade ore bag and it’s absolutely was not worth it. You’re better off actually going to the mine. I was really upset with the quality of what I got and I spent in total around 140 I believe or 130 either way not worth it. I got like one speckle of tourmaline and I was hoping for more I watched videos of people who ordered bags and well there’s looks like so much better mine is idk. I had a great experience !!!! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process enjoyable. While this isn’t the most simple mining activity out there, it’s by far one of the best I’ve seen for anyone who wants close to the full experience. It is strenuous—you’ll be out in the sun(they offer tents for rent or I believe you can bring your own canopy) , you will be moving around a lot—so I recommend bringing an extra change of clothes(also will get dirty) , snacks, and water (though they do sell some on-site). I really wanted to enjoy this experience. It's right up my wife's and my alley. We love playing in the dirt, and we love finding cool rocks. Unfortunately, the way this business operates created an extremely unenjoyable experience. The staff explained the rules to everyone there, that you are supposed to all take pails up to a central pile of "paydirt," fill your pail, and return to your station to process it and look for gems.
