BEST SALON I'VE EXPERIENCED!
I love ocean rayz! I've been going to them for about 6 months now. I tried a few other places when i moved here but this place was the best by far. I tan unlimited in level 2 for 39 bucks per month. They are super friendly and know their products! Not many places tell you so much about what lotion you choose. I just read the comment from barb c below and i didn't see our experience anything you described at all. Sounds like maybe you didn't get your way and are only trying to make them look bad because the beds are gorgeous and look brand new and i got amazing color. The owner is there sometimes and she's so nice and always makes sure I'm happy and have everything i need. I just wish there was a place like this from my home state! I've had a few friends go and they love it too. 5 stars for this place for sure!! Marie

Just another scam along the way
I came here to help finish my tan to work outside for a week or more here in Florida. (I am from Virginia) I saw the price for a month was $20 and figured it was similar in price to what I am used to up north.($2.50 - 7.00) Wrong! $10 bucks for a single session in a bed with bulbs too old to help me along. These people took my money and gave me absolutely no value in return.The bed was old, had cloudy plastic, and the bulbs did nothing for my lily white complexion. I had 3 or 4 sessions before I left Virginia, and have been using tanning beds for 25 years to keep a base tan. It is how I keep from getting burned working outside. These people do not really care if they are taking care of you. If they did care they would have put me in something with new bulbs, knowing I was only coming to see them once. ( I am going to a new town in a day or two) I doubt I will see another tanning salon here in Florida. I have no recourse for how they treated me. I cannot make them put me in a decent bed. I trusted them to do so when I walked in and paid them money. I do not think I will attempt trust in anyone else Money is hard to come by nowadays.

Great place!! I LOVE their beds and the staff is so friendly. I am very comfortable when I go there and not pressured into buying something all the time like most of these tanning places. They always run specials too. Im sticking with Oceanrayz!

An endless ocean of tanning bliss!!
Oceanrayz is the best tanning salon I have ever visited ever!!! Gina was very helpful, taking the time to educate me on their beds, the different features and levels. She explained the products they offer & provided me w/ the lotions that will best meet my needs. She is the most experienced salon owner, with a great personality, people savvy and most importantly, a professional. I can tell from my experience that the 1 negative review posted here was obviously someone who was too impatient or too obnoxious to stick around & really experience this fabulous salon. My experience was far more superior than I could have ever expected. They have a new & very happy customer! Great work Oceanrayz!!!!

What can I say??
Well, I've been to oceanrayz a couple of times when I got a special they were having to tan 5 days for free.. I thought it was very nice. It is the only tanning place I've ever been to. They were very helpful with telling me about tanning and helping me pick the lotion that was right for me. I'm spanish and have a tan so I didnt need to tan for too long.. So they explained how long I can tan and how to get the best tan that I was hoping for. Everyone was very helpful and the owners are very nice. I'm moving back to Brandon and am looking forward to get my tan on at oceanrayz. They have the best specials yet, I'm serious.

Awesome beds and service!!
I signed up with Oceanrayz about 2 weeks ago. I normally burn easy but I am the darkest I have ever been now, without burning! I always burn! The female owner was very helpful and informative. I learned a lot about my skin and the tanning process that I never knew before. They have really nice beds too. Ones that I have never seen before. I tanned in one that had air conditioning and even a button you can push that will mist you lightly with cool water!! (that was my favorite one) Also most salons I have been to are very pushy on sales but she wasn't. I just got what I needed and that was it. It is super clean and always smells nice. Doesn't smell like a "tanning salon." They even have deoderant, baby wipes and a ROBE in each room! I look forward to my next session and plan to stay permanently with them.

Rude, bad service
When I first visited Oceanrayz, the woman behind the desk completely ignored me and continued talking on the phone. They have a very small lobby and I had to stand in front by the woman on the phone who did not seem happy that I interrupted her. After my tan, she was back on the phone and did not say goodbye to me. I guess they have enough customers. I am looking for a more friendly place to tan.

Great Tan
Be the envy of others! Oceanrayz has stand up beds, various lay down bed, lotions, and accessories. Their open everyday and have a very clean store. The owners are a trip. They invite their customers to their house for parties. It's great!
