I love Oceana Massage. The location in West Pender is easy to access and the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. I have been accessing treatment with Mattias - Matty, for a couple of years and Matty’s massages are brilliant. Matty’s skill in knowing what my muscles need is impeccable. Matty also provides helpful information about my general self care with kindness and sincerity.
I had an initial deep tissue/relaxation massage with Matty a few weeks ago and it was transformational! I have a complicated neck issue that sends me into painful muscle spasms the next day when I receive wrong treatment modalities from other RMTs, Chiropractors, physiotherapists, etc., so I was hesitant to ask Matty for any treatment on my neck. Whether the service is for relaxation or to address a specific issue like a muscle spasm, Matty handles it with care, expertise, and professionalism. Highly recommend!
As someone who spends long hours at a desk, I was blown away by how Leah knew exactly what I needed. She found and released all the tension in my shoulders, back, and legs, leaving me looser and lighter than I’ve felt in ages. Highly recommend her if you’re dealing with desk-related aches!
