There was rolling fields of green grass and a gorgeous giant tree to lay under, not to mention the fire pits, the barbecue area was an awesome touch! I loved this place! I chose to treat myself for my birthday with a two-night stay during my travels, but in the end, I stayed four nights because I felt so comfortable. It was a bit pricey, but compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, it offered much better value — cleaner, more beautiful, and friendlier staff! I really liked the location, although getting around without a car can be a bit inconvenient if you want to explore nearby areas. It was fabulous to have a cabin with a balcony and a breathtaking view. We were able to cook but found it frustrating that the smoke alarms went off without cause. The bed was comfortable though a bit of a climb up. It was a pleasure to walk the beaches. Our son gave us a tour of the rainforest, the surfing beaches, and we even had a go on the waves. It was great to have a pool and hotub with a place to wash clothes. We enjoyed our forays into Tofino.
