I enjoyed my stay at Ocean view hospital because the people who took care of me cared. There's was no pretending, or fake, it was love, understanding, caring. They were all wanting to help me and others. Because I've experienced being in the hospital too many times in life, this place saved me and it's been four years since I haven't been back into a psych board. Not what I expected from a Psych facility like in the movies. While still a hospital, I loved that it's a warm atmosphere with exceptional clinical care. Nearly every room is private with a window view. I liked how most every room is individual and has a window. After meeting the staff, I felt their genuine level of care and expertise in every interaction.

OK so this place is different from most places it's voluntary and they are there to help you get back on your medication if you need to or if you need a adjustment they will help you with that.... They give you groups to get you back in spirits.... What i want to talk about is there after program php and iop it is well worth it they are helping me tremendously.... Plus they give you a ride and a good lunch for the most part.... They treat you with respect like adults.... If you need a after care program.... It's a good one..... read more

Literally cannot think of one good thing about this place. Well, with the exception of a couple of staff members who were kind to us. We were cash pay here and I know it's wrong to expect more in that scenario but I guess I kinda did. I especially expected professionalism and kindness and respect. And warmth!! No joke, the place is an ice box with no HVAC control whatsoever. Bring your own pillows and blankets since you're housed in a medical office building with thin thin blanket and plastic pillow.
