We recently stayed at Ocean Reef Beach House in Cabarita, our visit was for two nights and we have only the best to say about our experience with Jenny and Ocean Vibes. I booked the property for the celebration of our son's birthday, and had five of my family, his uncles and aunt stay. The accommodation was great and catered so well for our group, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the attributes of a 5 Star hotel. We are very happy and highly recommend Jenny from Ocean Vibes Property Management and her team in managing our property Lorraine's Beach House in New Brighton NSW. The Byron Shire Council has very restrictive letting requirements and our previous agent no longer wanted to assist us when they came in. Jenny has managed the Pines in Mullumbimby for over a year. She has done a great job. Reviews have been excellent and the joys has been spotless whenever we have stayed. Jenny has secured a number of longer term rentals outside of the current cap that applies in the Byron Shire.
Jenny’s service was appalling from the very start. We almost wanted to cancel the trip entirely with how abrupt and rude she was. Please note we spent $11000 for 7 nights. From the very beginning when I asked a question she were rude, non helpful and quite frankly when my friends had questions they wanted me to ask her I said absolutely not because her attitude was making me cranky and uncomfortable. I attempted to book a stay via Airbnb where Jenny was listed as the host. After initiating the booking, I was advised that the reservation needed to be redirected through a separate property management company called Ocean Vibes Property Management, rather than being completed on Airbnb. I was then sent an external invoice (including an added “discount”) and separately received an email requesting a $500 bond payment outside of the Airbnb platform.
