Let me start by saying I did not actually stay at the hotel, my sister and her family did. She used to live in the area and decided it would be nice to stay a couple nights on the beach rather than with family. She thought she had gotten a great deal and we had plans for our families to get together and do a "beach day" and then perhaps hit the pool afterwards.
