This place is great, it’s my go to when I fall off the wagon.
I came here from rehab hoping to be in a place that would help me get better. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Personal trauma therapy is done in a group and it's humiliating. Made fun of of my appearance by some of the staff as well. They say they agree relapse is a part of recovery but if u even slip a little bit your threatened discharge with little to no sympathy. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. Victoria and all the case management staff were always there when I needed help, and the therapists provided the guidance and encouragement that made a real difference in my recovery. This team truly cares about their patients, and it shows in everything they do. I would recommend this recovery center to anyone searching for a safe and supportive place to heal.
I am the parent of a 21 year old son who has been battling drug addiction for a few years and has been in Ocean State recovery for the second time in 3 years. The staff and personnel have been very supportive, compassionate, and very helpful in his recovery. He feels like every one there are really on his side and believe in him.
