I hired this moving company based on their '#1 interstate moving company' online claims along with their false statements on their homepage that they do not broker moves. We were scheduled for moving from Massachusetts to North Carolina starting August 8th, 2021. We were unable to get confirmation from IVL for a pickup until we were conveniently within the 48hr cancellation period. I have had a nightmarish experience with International Van Lines, avoid them, they are dishonest. On August 10, 2020, I contracted an international "door to door" move of all my family's belongings from California to Ecuador. Our property was loaded onto a shipping container by the moving company on September 10. As of January 18, 2020 we have not received our car and IVL wants us to pay to ship the car back to the United States because they failed to file customs documents on time. I chose this company and up to the day of the pick up of my belongings the customer service and information provided was wonderful. I wanted to send my stuff from AL, USA to Bavaria Germany. They picked up my belongings of 300 cubic on February 4th. After 3 weeks i tried to get a hold of them for 2 weeks to find out when my shipment is expected to arrive in Germany. Yes Yes Yes! Ocean Star International is the best international shipping service in US. My friends used to tell me about this amazing company and their excellent customer service with affordable pricing. I and my family have used Ocean Start International for over 5 times in a period of 6 months. My father got me information about this company and after having a conversation with their team, I decided to use them for air shipping. We were given a quote of $200 higher from another company for air shipping the same stuff. I am very happy with them and would highly recommend them to everyone.
